Our names are Emma and Rhys and we're originally from Brisbane. Follow us as we begin a
new chapter in our book of life and keep up to date with our travels, stories and some of the photos we take along the way.
Everyone was doing it, so after finishing high school we went straight to university to hang out in the Great Court, occasionally attending lectures and managed to come out 4 years later with Engineering degrees. After a couple of
years working full time in the fast paced, demanding construction industry (but never in the same city) we have
decided it’s time for a break.
Having between us explored New Zealand, Fiji, Thailand, Cambodia, China, Vietnam, Egypt, South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Taiwan, Japan, Bali, Spain and USA, we're no strangers to traveling, so with no mortgage or
other serious commitments there seemed no better opportunity
to see a bit more of the world!
After organising accommodation, jobs and one way tickets to Canada, we
hung up our hard hats, packed our lives into backpacks and said goodbye to Brisbane.
For how long you ask? How long is a piece of string?!
